In its 60th season, Boston Children's Theatre is proud to provide quality live theatre opportunities accessible to children throughout the Greater Boston area.

Boston Children's Theatre believes the art of theatre not only provide a means for self-discovery and individual expression, but also offers a safe, supportive and productive environment in which young people may gather from across traditional boundaries to learn about themselves, each other while engaged in live theatre.

Boston Children's Theatre has a strong commitment that no child shall ever be turned away from our programming for lack of financial means. In 2010, Boston Children's Theatre has awarded over $24,000 in need-based scholarships.

Additionally, BCT created The Lois H. Weltman Outreach Fund in tribute to Mrs. Weltman's life-long dedication to young people and the arts. The Lois Weltman Fund has made it possible for Boston's youth to attend productions at the Boston Children's Theatre at a reduced or complimentary rate.
